Our B&B also has fantastic links to Rome’s public transport network. Via Nazionale is a major bus route to Termini (the city’s transport hub with direct links to airports), but guests to Artemis B&B will find that they are also within walking distance of underground metro stations of both of the city’s underground lines – Line A (Repubblica station) and Line B (Cavour station).

Using the metro system, guests can be at the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, the Spanish Steps, the Basilica of St Peter (where St Peter is buried), the papal Basilica of St John Lateran and the Basilica of St Paul (where St Paul is buried) within minutes. So what are you waiting for?!

Located on the famous shopping street of Via Nazionale, guests are ideally positioned in the centre of Rome within walking distance of major tourist attractions and the city’s public transport network. To give you an idea how central and close we are to the historic ancient monuments, we are situated on the edge of the district of Monti where Julius Caesar was born and within around 10-15 minutes walk from the Coliseum and Imperial Roman Forum.

Nowadays, Monti still retains a special character with charming cobbled streets, traditional Roman restaurants, chic boutiques and trendy art galleries and bars. For those who prefer museums and art, Artemis B&B is also just a short walk away from the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the famous art gallery of Vittoriano at Piazza Venezia to name but two. Artemis B&B is also within walking distance of Piazza Repubblica, the National Opera House, the awe inspiring golden Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (a favourite of Pope Francis) and, perhaps most popularly, the romantic Trevi Fountain – particularly breath-taking when lit at night.
